The European university landscape is at present in motion. Of it also the academic subject of catholic theology is concerned. In the last years consciousness for the fact grew that a university career presupposes also didactical authority except research achievements.
For this reason the catholic-theological faculty day and the German bishop conference already initiated 1999 a universitydidactical further training catholic theology, which takes place since then in two-year distances in the Upper Bavarian monastery Benediktbeuern. The offer addresses itself” to women and men, priests and laymen, who attain a doctorate in the German-speaking countries and habilitieren themselves. “Except full-time at the university transacting also scholarship holders are invited and for the scientific qualification released theologian to the participation.
The place of the further training was not only selected because of its baroque Ambientes, to concern itself but also because the philosophical-theological university of the Salesianer Don Boscos and the youth education place center of action form a very much suitable framework, in order with the switching up-to-date from theology to - so the unanimous opinion of the responsible persons.
In the winter semester 2007/08 the universitydidactical further training already takes place for the fifth time. The Dresdener Religionspädagogin Professor Dr. Monika Scheidler and the Dortmunder Hochschuldidaktker Dr. Oliver rice has the line. In the meantime the further training was accredited after the standards of the working group for university didactics, so that the participation can acquire 30 Credits (points of achievement).
Two workshop seminars are intended (of 18. by 22 September 2007 as well as of 4. up to 8. March 2008). In the lecture time lying between them are to try the participants to convert the learned in their homeland universities into the practice whereby they receive support by supervision and collegial consultation.
The universitydidactical further training catholic theology enjoyed in the past years of a positive resonance. In the professional world of the” model Benediktbeuern “(so for instance the Dortmunder Hochschuldidaktiker Professor Dr. Johannes Wildt in the year 2002) is already spoken.
The participation fee for the three sections of the further training amounts to 450, - €. Deadline for applications is 15 June 2007. Further information (inclusive.
